SIRIJAYA was founded in 1983 under the name of Syarikat Serijaya and subsequently we had incorporated the company as a private limited company in Malaysia under the name of Sirijaya Industries Sdn. Bhd. on 14 June 1986.We were initially involved in manufacture of starter holders, lamp holders, miniature lighting parts and components supplying to the various luminaire manufacturers in the domestic markets as well as overseas/Middle East countries. A sub-assembly of lawnmowers and toolboxes were aligned in operation to sustain our small scale businessduring the inception.We envisaged the growth of construction industries in the country will be steadily expanding with billions of dollars buildings be built in various locations thus seeing substantial opportunities on light fittings needed to be installed not only in architecture buildings but also commercial building particular for offices, schools, universities, hypermarkets, hotels, hospitals and etc. In review of these growing opportunities, we expanded our business portfolios from lighting parts and components to manufacture of fluorescent light fittings systems in 1991 and named our brand as SJ LITE.Our first major project was awarded and it has been successfully installed and commissioned at the Malaysian Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang terminal 2. Carry with the triumph of this prestige installation, we have subsequently with prides continue supplies SJ LITE's fittings to the entire Nation and exporting more than 25 countries in various continents.
